The Children's Institute (TCI) offers their students a model alternative program in which each child's social/emotional and cognitive learning needs are addressed in a prescriptive Individualized Educational Plan (IEP). All academic curricula follow the New Jersey Core Curriculum. The program enables children to maximize their learning potential, to increase their ability to resolve problems, to effectively utilize social skills, and to express feelings in a positive manner.
