Our Admissions Process:
Record Review: Local school districts may refer students to TCI by forwarding students' records. TCI's multidisciplinary admissions team will review diagnostic assessments, evaluations, developmental history, current IEP and other relevant documents to determine the appropriateness of the referral. TCI cannot accept referrals for admission directly from families, but families who are interested in learning more about TCI may request a tour of the building using our Online Registration System or by contacting TCI directly. For the Verona campus (preschool-9th grade), contact Caren Berman at cberman@tcischool.org or 973-509-3050 x221. For the Livingston campus (Grade 10 and up), contact Laura Burns at lburns@tcischool.org or 973-509-3050 x402.

Next Steps:
Intake Interview: If the referral is deemed appropriate, the student will be invited to the school for an intake interview. The case manager should accompany the student and his/her parent(s) or guardian(s) for this intake appointment.
Acceptance: Acceptance into TCI is based on our assessment of our ability to meet the student's cognitive, social/emotional and language needs, as well as openings in an appropriate classroom.
TCI does not exclude children on the basis of sex, race, religion, color or national origin.
