The Center for Independence is a day program designed for adults on the autism spectrum and with related disabilities.

At The Center for Independence, we know that disability does not define anyone. Our multi-tiered system of supports for adults on the autism spectrum and with related disabilities, allows us to meet each participant where they are, and to help them develop skills for what lies ahead as a member of the larger community.

Our goal is to help each participant grow in the areas of life skills, social skills, personal development and vocational skills. We work toward individuals becoming integrated as an independent, productive adults in the community, living life to the fullest.

The Center for Independence is a DDD Qualified Provider for Real Life Choices and Self Directed Day Services. 
At The Center for Independence, we teach life skills with the goal of maximizing independence.
 
Participants in our program explore:

The Center for Independence full time day program for adults with autism and related disabilities is open Monday through Friday, from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM, 220 days per year.
 
The Center for Independence Second Shift part-time program runs Tuesday and Thursday from 3:00 PM to 8:30 PM.
