TCI's Annual Fund
TCI is committed to recognizing and valuing each child's unique abilities, learning styles and differences, and to serving as a leader in promoting innovative programs that encourage success.
TCI maintains a high staff to student ratio, recruits and retains top educators, provides innovative learning experiences and programs, maintains state-of-the-art technology and training, and offers a wide array of extra-curricular activities to assure that the students develop enthusiasm and a love of learning.
While local school districts cover tuition, TCI's Annual Fund supported by parents, staff, alumni, community members, foundations and corporations is able to supplement special programs and services and fund additional programs that are not supported by tuition. These extra special programs help the students enhance their self-esteem, create confidence to participate in social activities, and become productive young adults.
While unrestricted gifts provide the most flexibility to use the funds where they are most needed, you may designate our gift to a specific program.
Special programs you may wish to consider include:
- Cultural Arts
- After school Program
- Respite Program
- Horticulture program
- Career education - work experience activities
- SEE Program (photography and the environment)
- Scouting
- Computer Technology
- Professional Development

Capital Campaign
There are many opportunities to support the "Building Our Children's Tomorrow" campaign to establish a High School/Career Education Center and to expand our programs and services for younger students. Every gift is welcome and appreciated. If you are interested in a naming opportunity you may wish to consider making a contribution of $300 or more to have a special brick engraved and placed on a Walk of Distinction at the school's entrance or along one of the paths on the property.
Donors who contribute $1,000 or more will be listed on a permanent plaque according to gift level. This plaque will be prominently displayed in the new addition.
Donors who give $10,000 or more will also be acknowledged on individual plaques in or near to the room/area named for them.
Contributions will be recognized in the following categories:
Leaders Circle - $100,000 +
Founders Circle - 50,000
Builders Circle - 10,000
Benefactors - 7,500
Patrons - 2,000
Friends - 1,000
Tribute Cards
TCI supporters can make contributions through a gift that has special meaning. Call the Development Office at 973-509-3050, ext. 318 to make arrangements to purchase tribute cards. The handsome tribute cards can be used to recognize family and friends for birthdays, anniversaries, engagements, a new job, a new baby, graduation, speedy recovery or condolence.
New this year! Note cards, which feature full color artwork created by TCI students! Send a message of hope to children diagnosed with autism, learning and/or emotional disabilities by purchasing a package of 8 note cards from TCI. Your cost of $20.00 per box directly supports TCI.
