At the end of every academic calendar, we encourage our students to reflect on the many adventures and experiences they have participated in throughout their year at TCI.
David Di Ianni is an experienced and well-informed educator who came to TCI and established a state-of-the-art video production program.
Valerie Triano was selected at the Related Services Provider of the Year for The Children’s Institute. All the staff at TCI would agree to descriptors such as dedicated, selfless, supportive, respected, flexible, contributory, and generous. Valerie Triano embodies these attributes both personally and professionally.
Vanessa Carbalho was selected as TCI's Paraprofessional of the Year for the 2012-2013 school year. She is a role model to all of her colleagues.
The Children’s Institute, located on Regent Street in Livingston, is offering an intensive video production and acting course for teens and young adults, from August 5 - 23, 2013. Participants can enroll for one, two or all three weeks.
While The Children's Institute is celebrating its fiftieth year as a school for children with emotional and learning disabilities, its heritage dates back one hundred and thirty years, when the original charity was founded as The Hebrew Orphanage and Sheltering Home in Newark, NJ.
