On Monday, December 8, The Children’s Institute (TCI) held a grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony for the commercial greenhouse at the Livingston campus. The greenhouse will be utilized by the high school and young adult students as well as by the adults at The Center for Independence.
The Culinary Arts program at The Children’s Institute has been busy this season baking more than 140 homemade pies for a delicious start to the holiday season. Chef Michael Matthews, Culinary Arts teacher and resident 'pie guy', taught the students from start to finish how to create a variety of delicious pies.
